Review: A'Pieu Moist Creamy Concealer

Review: A’Pieu Moist Creamy Concealer

After the long wait, I’m bringing you a new review! This time for a concealer from A’Pieu – Moist Creamy Concealer. I’ve heard many many good stuff about this concealer so I decided to try it.

Packaging

The packaging is pretty simple, transparent plastic tube with black cap. It doesn’t come in a box  (sadly), it is only protected with clear plastic wrapper. The good thing about the transparent tube is that you can see the shade.

It comes with a doe foot applicator, which is pretty standard for these types of concealers.

Product

There are 5 shades available: #1 Frozen, #2 Vanilla, #3 Porcelain, #4 Beige, #5 Sand.

I’ve got the shade #1 Frozen and I have to say, it is too light for me. Yeah, shocking. I’m the palest person I know and this still looks like white on me (as seen on pictures below).

It’s supposed to be moisturizing, however, I feel like it emphasizes dry patches (around pimples, etc). The lasting property isn’t the best either, the coverage lasts for about half the day if not less.

It has SPF30 PA++ which is great to add on. It creases only a little bit, I know many worse concealers. Also, it doesn’t feel heavy at all, it’s very light and you don’t feel it on your face at all.

The coverage is medium, it doesn’t cover dark circles (the purple is still peeking through) and some major blemishes either. You can use it for highlighting your nose, chin, forehead and I don’t even know what else people highlight these days. For undereyes, I recommend using a colour corrector before it (for example Skinfood Salmon Darkcircle), it works great that way.

Since it’s too light for me, I use it under foundation (loving it with Tonymoly BCDation+) and it works great.

Overall

I have mixed feelings about this concealer. Quite honestly, I was expecting a little more from it. However, it’s not the worst concealer ever and I will definitely continue using it under foundation.

If you don’t have a big problems with acne like me, I think this would be great for you. It’s also amazing for highlighting if you can’t find shade that is pale enough for you (my case, that’s the biggest plus of this).

You can get your own on Jolse.
