Review (acne skin): Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream

0

Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream… During the past year, I’ve been hearing about this BB cream quite a lot. They even sell it in my country, which already means something on its own. So I was really excited about trying this BB out myself.

Packaging

First off, the box is very pretty. It has a chrome effect, the top half is dark bronze colour and the bottom half is light gold. The back side is completely golden with black letters. All the other sides have small dots in the opposite colour (brozne part has gold dots, gold part has bronze dots). The letters of the name have holographic effect.

The bottle has silver top and dark red bottle. Upper half has the same dots as the box, bottom half is this time without any dots. The bottle is really small, its height is only 105 mm. This size makes it perfect for travelling.

I’ve got 20 ml so it is a squeeze tube. The 50 ml version comes with a pump.

Product

On Jolse, there are 3 shades available: #13, #21 and #23.
In my country there are 5 shades: #13, #21, #23, #27 and #29. I guess the western market offers darker shades.

I’ve got the shade #21 and I feel like it’s a perfect match for the summer (even tho I wear SPF 50+ sunscreen under makeup).  The colour has neutral to grey undertone so I’m not quite sure how this fits yellow undertones, but for me it’s perfect. The shade reminds me a lot of Skin79 Hot Pink Super+ BB Cream.

Also there are 2 options, either you get 20 ml or 50 ml. I’ve got the 20 ml version since I have high standards for BB creams ever since I got my lovely Aritaum Full Cover BB Cream.

It has SPF42 PA+++. Odd number but it could be enough for some people. I still use my sunscreen under it.

The coverage isn’t the best one. It’s like a regular BB cream to me, it only evens out the skin tone (even tho it doesn’t cover the redness around my nose). It doesn’t cover any blemishes nor acne scars, it only tones them down. Basically, the coverage is light to maybe medium, not buildable.

The finish is very natural, you don’t even need to set it with powder. It also is very lightweight and you don’t feel it on your face at all.

Surprisingly, it holds on pretty well and lasts for a good amount of time. However, it starts setting into fine lines (around my eyes) fairly quickly. And as time passes by, it starts setting into smile lines as well, and emphasizing my pores. But it’s not as noticeable as with some of my foundations.

It doesn’t transfer! That’s a big pron! And it’s not as easily rubbed off as other face products I own.

Overall

Quite honestly, I was really disappointed by the coverage. And because of my high standards, I am glad I only got 20 ml.

However, if you have a better skin than I do and just want to even out the tone of your complexion, maybe just spot conceal, I say go for it. It lasts really good so I think it would be great for students since you don’t even have to touch up.

I also think it’s great for every skin type. It’s not drying nor too moisturizing. You could just lightly powder it (that’s what I do on my T-zone) or spray with mist.

You can get your own on Jolse*.
