Review: Tonymoly Pro Clean Smoky Cleansing Stick

0

This month is filled with Tonymoly, this time I’m going to talk about Pro Clean Smoky Cleansing Stick (from the same serie as the Cleansing Cream I talked about a few weeks ago).

Packaging

The box is pretty simple looking, only black and white with a minimum English. On the back, there are ingredients and some more information.

The case looks basically like a deodorant with the same design as the box. Opening the lid, there is another one which is protecting the actual product.

To get the product, you simply roll the small white sprocket (couldn’t find what that part is called). You’re getting 25 grams of product, which is not a lot, but it’s a nice amount considering that this ‘stick’ is mainly for travelling.

Product

The stick itself is in a black colour, which explains the charcoal that it contains. Charcoal is great for cleaning the pores and detoxify the skin. So if you have a problem with black heads, adding something with charcoal in it might help.

Since the colour is black, when using, it leaves behind a black residue which you then wash off. After washing off, there is absolutely no residue and my face doesn’t feel dry! Most of the second cleansers I’ve tried dry out my skin but this one doesn’t, at all. And I’ve tried this stick with 3 different oil/balm cleansers. So this might be a great thing for dry skin types.

However, it doesn’t create bubbles. This isn’t a big deal, but I do prefer seeing bubbles, it makes me feel like my skin is actually getting cleaned, so I lack this feeling but at the same time, after washing off the product off my face, my skin feels kind of freshened and clean. So not having bubbles is really not a problem.

I’ve already traveled with this cleanser and my goodness, it saves up so much space (in comparison to a regular tube of foam cleanser).

Overall

I love this. It cleanses the complexion thoroughly while moisturizing and not stripping any moisture out of my face which I need since my skin is dehydrated.

I highly recommend this basically to everyone. For travelling, it’s one of the best cleansers you could use. And even tho it’s small, it lasts a really long time (like really long).
